    Katia Gali is an Israeli multidisciplinary Artist. In her work Gali focusing on figurative painting of people and still life with vibrant colors. She incorporates objects around the main figures, reflecting their world and identity. She uses oil paint for its rich, deep colors and integrates printmaking and collage techniques. Her work addresses narcissism and self-representation on social media, engaging with the evolution of self-identity and its destructive tendencies. She often includes items like medicine bottles, relating to addiction and mental health issues. Her art celebrates the inner child, which she’s only recently been able to give space to, drawing from her own non-normative childhood experiences.     Gali started to paint 13 years ago in a drug rehabilitation program. Art has provided her with a new meaning in life.
